    • ]]>     Scandic er et hotellkjeden som har mellomklassen hoteller i Belgia, Danmark, Estland, Finland, Litauen, Nederland, Norge, Sverige og Tyskland.

    Fra begynnelsen, Scandic fokus på Sverige, men har gjennom årene utvidet til flere land.

    Selskapet, som opprinnelig ble kalt Esso Motor Hotel ble grunnlagt i 1963 og skiftet navn til Scandic 1984 etter Esso hadde solgt hotellet kjeden. Scandic Sverige er verdens første øko hotell kjeden siden 2004, da alle hotell var øko-merking Svanen.

    Scandic tidligere eid av Ratos. 2001-2007 ble Scandic by Hilton eide kjeden, som solgte den kjeden EQT.

    Minste Scandic Hotel ligger i Löddeköpinge. Hotellet har 44 rom.
